Privacy Policy
We handle some of the most sensitive information a person has. Here is exactly what we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do.

What we collect
To provide fingerprinting and background check services we collect: your name, contact details, service address, date and place of birth (for federal submissions), your fingerprint images, and the information printed on your Request for Live Scan Service form, including the ORI code, applicant type, and requesting agency.
Through the website we also collect anything you voluntarily submit through our booking or contact forms.
What we do with it
We use it for one purpose: to complete the service you asked us to perform, and to contact you about that service.
- Fingerprint images and applicant data are transmitted to the California Department of Justice and, where required, to the FBI.
- Contact details are used to confirm your appointment, quote your total, and follow up.
- Billing records are retained as required for tax and business purposes.
What we never do
- We do not sell your personal information. Ever, to anyone, for any purpose.
- We do not share it with third parties for marketing.
- We do not receive, store, or have access to your background check results. Live Scan results go directly from the Department of Justice to the requesting agency. FBI Identity History Summary results are released only to you or your authorized attorney.
- We cannot look up, retrieve, or interpret your results for you, because we never hold them.
How we protect it
We handle personally identifiable information under Privacy Act and CJIS security standards. Records are held in access-controlled, encrypted storage. Federal Departmental Order forms are retained for three years as the FBI requires, then destroyed.
Retention
Applicant records are kept only as long as required by the California Department of Justice, the FBI, and applicable law, or as needed to resolve a rejected submission. Booking enquiries that do not result in an appointment are deleted once they are no longer needed.
Your rights
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we hold about you, the right to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Some records we are legally required to retain and cannot delete on request. We will tell you plainly if that applies.
