Government processing fees are set by the State of California and the FBI. They vary depending on the agency requesting your background check. We collect them at cost with no markup.
What We Bring
We arrive fully self-contained: table, portable power station, scanner, laptop, signature pad, and FBI-certified card printer. No outlet needed, no setup required from your team. Point us to a room and we will handle the rest.
Individual services such as FD-258 fingerprint cards and FBI Identity History Summaries are also available on site by request. These are purchased directly by the individual and are not billed to your organization. Learn more →

Volunteer & nonprofit fingerprinting
This is the part most organizations do not know. Many volunteer background checks carry $0 in State fees under the California DOJ fee schedule. Volunteers for qualifying nonprofit human resource and youth organizations, foster care mentors, and certain child day care volunteers.
If you run a church, youth league, mentoring program, or nonprofit, your per-volunteer total may be dramatically lower than you are budgeting for. We will confirm exactly which fees apply to your ORI and applicant type before you commit to anything.
Group Event Terms
Minimum billing. Group events are billed at the confirmed headcount or a five-person minimum, whichever is greater. Billing is based on the headcount confirmed at booking and is not reduced for participants who do not attend.
No deposit required. You pay when the service is complete. We can invoice businesses with an approved account.
No cancellation fee. Plans change. Let us know as early as you can so we can free up the time.
Confirmation. We will email to confirm your date and headcount 48 hours before your event. A quick reply keeps everything on schedule.
Headcount increases. Additional participants can be added on site at the same per-person rate, subject to available time.
Access and setup. We arrive fully self-contained with our own table and portable power station. All we need is a reasonably private space to work.
