Appointments
All service is by appointment. A booking request submitted through this website is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Your appointment is confirmed when we reply to you directly.
Pricing
Our fees are published on this website. We confirm your full total before your appointment, and that quoted total does not change afterwards.
Government fees are set by the California Department of Justice and the FBI. We collect and remit them at cost and do not mark them up. They are subject to change by the government at any time, and the fee that applies to you is determined by the ORI code and applicant type on your form.
Cancellations
No cancellation fees. Plans change. Let us know as early as you can so we can free up the time.
What you must provide
We cannot perform a California Live Scan without a completed Request for Live Scan Service form issued by the requesting agency, showing a valid ORI code and applicant type. We cannot fingerprint anyone without valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification. These are State requirements, not our policy, and we have no discretion to waive them.
If we arrive and either is missing, the appointment cannot proceed. This is why we offer to check your paperwork free of charge before you book.
Rejected submissions
Fingerprints are occasionally rejected for image quality, usually because of worn or damaged fingertips. If we processed the original submission, we will return and re-roll at no charge and cover the resubmission fees.
What we do not control
- Processing times at the Department of Justice or the FBI.
- The outcome of your background check.
- Whether a requesting agency accepts a submission, or what it decides afterwards.
- Government fee changes.
We provide the capture and transmission service accurately and promptly. We do not guarantee any particular result, timeline, or decision by any agency.
Results
We never receive your background check results and cannot provide, interpret, or dispute them.
